Happy to be a part of PM Modi’s government: N. Biren

Manipur Chief Minister Nongthombam Biren Thursday praised the PM Modi-led Bharatiya Janata Party Government, saying that, “Modi is such a dynamic leader with legendary power and his leadership and achievements are commendable.” Biren was speaking during the inauguration of “Modi Fest” function at Iboyaima Shanglen, Palace Compound.

The three-day country wide celebration is organised in Manipur by BJP Manipur unit and will be celebrated in various parts and districts of the state.

According to IFP report, the CM said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is people oriented, developmental oriented and human oriented who works for the poorest of the poor. His approach is totally different than others and after his government was formed in 2014, India has seen a lot of positive changes, he observed.

His politics and international approach is different and the surgical strikes on Pakistan to teach them a lesson over Kashmir issue and tackling corruption by demonetisation of Rs.1000 and 500 notes are a total proof that he is different, he added.

Continuing his speech the sportsperson turned Chief Minister said that he is indeed really happy to be part of BJP and Modi’s government.

It may be mentioned that Modi to his credit had introduced many schemes and projects after taking over the Prime Ministerial office three years ago which includes Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana (PMMY), Make in India, Swachh Bharat Mission, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY).

The Chief Minister also stressed on the other projects launched by the prime minister of the country. He talked about housing for all under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), 57 items of test like skin, blood, kidney, diabetes, CT scan among others to be free from July 10 in the state among others.
